In my free time...
I volunteer with Gum Moon, where I lead on the complete revamp of the decades-old website, through designing and helping producing content. I also work with the executive team there to establish digital best practices to maintain an online presence. 👩🏻💻
I'm a volunteer mentor with Minds Matter SF, where I am partnered with a fellow mentor to help a high-achieving, low-income high school student to prepare for college. We provide mentorship in both academic and interpersonal contexts to help the mentee grow. 👩🏻🎓
I play(ed) percussion with SF Civic Symphony (in the pre-pandemic times), where we perform a few times a year playing classical music written by people from hundreds of years ago. I play(ed) the xylophone, bass drum, and the triangle. 🎶
